  1. Wow Jayme.. I love this painting. The background is perfect, but I can’t get over those wings. I’ve never been able to paint something transparent like that. The light behind the whole thing is a really nice touch and so is the way you wrapped the tail around the branch.

I could go on and on but I’ll leave it at this. One of my favorite animal paintings I’ve seen! Great job Jayme.

  2. Hi Justin! Thanks =) I just noticed I need to fix the wings. I am still trying to get the settings right on the video…yours looks great, you must share your secrets! =D

Sincerely a very interesting job. Good lighting scheme (and complicated.) the Background fits perfectly on the subject. a lovely-dangerous critter.a very good idea to change the wings standards for more interesting, even romantic idea. like a lot.

  4. Hi Daniel! Thank you, it’s nice to hear from you =) I was just going to change the header then decided to change themes.

    • Hi Arjun! Youre welcome =) The picture in the post is a link to one with a visible signature. [edit:now the pic in the post is the same one] -Thank you, I like the photo slideshow, I wonder if it would take long to load?

      • Ya the large picture has the signature, and it looks cool with the sig.

No idea about would it take longer or not, as i have not tried it and only seen in others websites, i think they are cool. Or the current one is okay, but as the number of drawings increase, it will become cumbersome, and then it would be difficult to restructure them. So you might use either the javascript gallery, or simply make some static setup with html code so that you have two picture thumbnails in one row with a caption below it.

        • thanks =)
-true! I was wondering what I’ll do when I have a few more drawings to display.
Its cool how the slideshow plays automatically,
if it had a small row of pictures showing the available pictures in the gallery to jump to, I think I would like it a-lot more. =)

  5. Wow, its beautiful! =D
I want to be able to be this detailed with my drawings one day. But I’m sure you’ve had years to practice, not to mention art classes.
    Very well done. ^-^

    • Hi giraffesanonymous, thank you =)
Formal schooling in digital arts would have been very helpful. I am learning things about digital art online, and by trial and lots of error.

  6. Very Cool!!!

Don’t think I ever answered your question about the math that you left at a reply to my last comment… Math has taken over my life!!! But it will all be over in two more weeks *deep breath* If I make it that long ;)

  7. I told you I loved it at friedeggs but the more I look at it the more I want it. It’s like the winged dragons I dream about and I notice that I’m not the only dragon dreamer. Hmmmm… I wonder what that means?

    • Hi Dyeve! I really like this one too, thanks =) I hope they dont come out with one I like more but they probably will.
Still, I will try very hard to not change this one for a while. =D

  8. Hi, there! :)

Just crossed my mind the silly idea ( becouse of numby post with unicorns…) that: what would be if you get starting your imagination to make the perfect Unicorn and of course to post here? Ihm? =))

    So, till then…Have a splendid week-end!

    • Hi Dyeve,

Sure, I could probably make one since you asked, I like them too. (just not the symbolism sometimes attached to them)

Thanks, I hope you have a great weekend too =)

    • Hi Ladygoodwood, thanks for stopping by. Glad you liked it =) Geckos are so cute, there is one that lives outside my window.
